1. Application
1.1 The door pull handle (hereinafter referred to as "handle") is a product designed for installation on various types of door leaves, both for interior use and emergency exits.
1.2 All handle variants comply with the requirements set by the Czech technical regulation – Government Decree No. 163/2002 Coll., as amended by Government Decree No. 312/2005 Coll., which establishes technical requirements for selected construction products, and also with the Czech technical standard ČSN 16 60 11:1992.
2. Description
2.1 All handle variants are designed with:
a) different structural shapes and dimensions,
b) various materials and surface finishes,
c) multiple types of mounts for door attachment.
2.2 Handle designs as per 2.1 a) are listed in the product catalogue. Based on specific customer requirements, spacing “L” within the product line can be modified, or custom sizes and models can be manufactured, provided the fundamental technical and safety properties remain unchanged.
2.3 Handle finishes as per 2.1 b), including custom designs:
STEEL – powder coated in RAL shades
STEEL – decorative chrome
STAINLESS STEEL – polished
STAINLESS STEEL – satin/brushed
BRASS – polished
Other materials and finishes are available upon prior consultation with the manufacturer.
2.4 Mounting designs as per 2.1 c), including various attachment methods by door type, are described in Section 3 and illustrated in Appendix – Fig. 8 of this technical documentation. Alternative mounting solutions are available upon consultation with the manufacturer, provided technical and safety requirements are met.
3. Installation
3.1 Depending on door type and thickness, as well as mounting method, the manufacturer offers seven mounting systems. Any other fixing method must be approved by the manufacturer while ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
3.2 Mounting designs (see 3.1) and installation examples are illustrated in Appendix – Fig. 8.
3.3 Compliance with the installation instructions (Appendix 2) guarantees adherence to safety regulations relevant to this product group in accordance with ČSN 166011/1992.
4. Maintenance
The buyer is responsible for correct maintenance according to the handle's surface finish:
Powder-coated handles (Komaxit):
Clean using only soap and a soft cloth. Scratches are not covered under warranty.
Chrome and titanium-coated handles:
Clean with soap or vinegar, rinse with lukewarm water, and wipe with a soft cloth. Do not use cleaners containing hydrochloric acid, chlorine, abrasive particles, or corrosive/alkaline agents – these may cause dark stains or damage the chrome surface.
Brass handles:
Uncoated brass: clean with cloth and a metal polish (powder or liquid).
Coated brass: clean with a soft cloth, water, alcohol, or glass cleaner. Do not use powder-based cleaners as they may scratch the surface.
Stainless steel handles:
Use special stainless steel cleaners. Do not use aggressive substances (e.g. bleach). Brushed surfaces can be refreshed using dedicated abrasive pads.
5. Materials
Handle tubes are manufactured from the following materials:

5.2 Stainless steel – grade 17

6. Marking
Each product is packaged in a labeled box specifying the handle type and design.
The label includes:
Handle type (Fig. 1–7)
Finish (as per Section 2.3), RAL number for coated products
Mounting method (as described in the manual)

8. Delivery
8.1 Each product is packaged in boxes.
8.2 Every shipment includes installation instructions and mounting hardware.
9. Warranty Terms
Handles are covered by a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase, provided the following conditions are met:
9.1 Handles are intended for finished interiors. Installation should take place after interior construction is complete.
9.2 It is recommended to install handles with protective PE sleeves, to be removed only before handover.
9.3 During ongoing construction work, the handle should be removed or protected against contact with abrasives or aggressive substances. Avoid chemical or solvent-based cleaners.
9.4 Visual defects and completeness must be claimed upon delivery. Hidden defects can be claimed in writing within the warranty period.
9.5 Unjustified claims (e.g. misuse, improper cleaning) will incur a handling fee of 200 CZK to cover processing and shipping.
9.6 The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, unauthorized repairs, modifications, or use of non-original spare parts.
9.7 Powder-coated, chrome, and brass handles are designed for indoor use. Exposure to harsh environments (humidity, temperature, chemicals) may damage the surface finish.
